Revision of voter list extended till Jan. 12, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: The revision of electoral roll, which was earlier scheduled till Dec. 26, 2023, has been extended up to Jan. 12, 2024.

In a missive to Chief Electoral Officers of 12 States, Under Secretary to Election Commission of India (ECI) Rajesh Kumar Singh has stated that ‘With the applications towards inclusion, omission, change in address and other revisions  in the voter list still being received, the revision of electoral roll has been extended up to Jan. 12, 2024.’

The District Administration, in association with Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), has provided the opportunity to voters to avail the services by submitting the applications in a prescribed format at booth level in city and district. The response from the voters is good and the information will be provided to the voters after the conclusion of revision exercise, stated District Election Branch Officers.
