Gold ornaments lifted from vanity bag at KSRTC Bus Stand

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have lifted a box containing gold ornaments from a vanity bag of a woman at the KSRTC Bus Stand in city. The woman, who lost her gold, is 43-year-old Vijaya, a resident of Maratikyathanahalli in the taluk.

On Dec. 23 at about 2.45 pm, Vijaya, along with her family members, came to the Bus Stand to catch a bus to Shivalli near Mandya to attend a function.

While she was waiting for the bus on Platform No. 2, she found the vanity bag half open and on looking inside her vanity bag, she found the box containing 41 grams gold ornaments missing.

Vijaya has lodged a complaint at Lashkar Police Station on Dec. 25. Police, who have registered the case, are investigating.
