Surveyor dies of accident injuries

Bannur: A two-wheeler rider succumbed to the injuries suffered in a road accident, on Dec. 26 at a private hospital in the city.

P. Praveen (28), a surveyor and resident of Chamanahalli in T. Narasipur taluk of the district, is the deceased person.

Praveen was riding his two-wheeler on Malavalli-Mysuru Main Road on Dec. 25 at around 3 pm, when a KSRTC bus, which overtook his vehicle, brushed past the right side of the vehicle, causing his fall resulting in grievous injuries. He was rushed to Government Hospital at Bannur for first aid, from where he was shifted to a private hospital in Mysuru for treatment. However, he succumbed to the injuries on Dec. 26 at around 4.15 am.

Bannur Police have registered a case in this regard.
