Rider falls from bike, dies

Hunsur: A two-wheeler rider, who had sustained serious head injuries after hitting a woman who was crossing the road and falling down from the bike, has succumbed to injuries at K.R. Hospital in Mysuru. The incident had taken place near Hunsur Bus Stand on Sunday night.

The deceased is Mahadeva (62), a retired KSRTC employee and a resident of Kallabetta Colony in the taluk. The woman, who sustained injuries, when the bike Mahadeva was riding hit her, is undergoing treatment at Hunsur General Hospital.

On Sunday night, Mahadeva was on his way to his native place and when he was proceeding near the Bus Stand, he rammed into a woman, who was crossing the road, lost control of the bike and fell down.

Mahadeva, who sustained head injuries, was rushed to Hunsur General Hospital, where he was provided first-aid and was later admitted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru, where he succumbed to injuries.

Hunsur Town Police Have registered a case.
