Rider killed as bike crashes into electric pole

Mysuru: A bike rider was killed on the spot and the pillion rider sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle they were travelling crashed into a roadside electric pole near Bogadi on Mysuru-Gaddige Road on Sunday.

Chetan (21), a resident of Bogadi, is the deceased while the seriously injured pillion rider Mahesh, also a resident of Bogadi, has been admitted to  K.R. Hospital.

Chetan and Mahesh were coming to Mysuru from Gaddige, when the fatal mishap occurred, it is learnt.

KR Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
