Rider killed as bike rams into goods vehicles from behind

Mysore/Mysuru: A 20-year-old youth was killed en route to the hospital when he reportedly rammed his vehicle into a goods vehicle from behind near Kodanahalli Gate on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road last night.

The deceased is N. Mahadevaswamy, a resident of Chennaodeyanapura in Gundlupet taluk.

Mahadevaswamy was proceeding on his bike from Nanjangud to Mysuru at about 11.30 pm on Thursday, when he rammed the bike into a goods vehicle that was moving ahead of him. Mahadevaswamy, who suffered serious head injuries, was lying in a pool of blood, when South Highway Beat Vehicle Police personnel rushed him to K.R. Hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead,’ according to the Police.

South Highway Beat Vehicle Police Personnel Krishnegowda, Chandrashekar and Narayan, were the ones who tried to save the life of the youth by rushing him to the hospital.
