Rider killed as KSRTC bus hits bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed when a KSRTC bus hit the bike he was riding on Feb. 18 morning. The deceased is Appu (22), son of Siddaraju, a resident of Someshwarapura in the taluk. 

Appu was proceeding towards Mysuru on his Bajaj Pulsar bike, when the KSRTC bus hit him near Hosahundi village on Hadinaaru village Road at about 11 am on Feb. 18 injuring Appu seriously. Though he was rushed to a private hospital in city, Appu succumbed to injuries on Feb. 20 at about 11.30 am, according to Mysuru South Rural Police Inspector Vanaraju, who has registered a case.

Post-mortem was conducted at MMC&RI mortuary and the body was handed over to the                        family members.
