Rider killed as Maruti van hits bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed when a Maruti van rammed into his bike at Pushpashrama Junction on Outer Ring Road on Jan. 23 afternoon.

The deceased is M.N. Mahesh, a resident of Menasikyathanahalli and an employee of J.K. Tyres.

Mahesh was on his way to work on his Hero Honda Splendor bike (KA-11-W-6111), when the Maruti van (KA-03-MB-6826) reportedly rammed into his bike resulting in Mahesh sustaining serious injuries.

Though he was rushed to a private hospital, he is said to have succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
