Rider killed as two-wheelers collide at N’gud

Nanjangud: A bike rider was killed, while another rider suffered minor injuries when their two-wheelers collided against each other near Kalale village in Nanjangud taluk on Thursday.

The deceased is Kiran Thomas (24), a native of Kerala, who was working at a factory in Thandavapura in the taluk. The injured is 70-year-old Srikanta Aradhya of Gundlupet.

Kiran was proceeding on his bike to the factory’s another branch at Sinduvallipura and while negotiating a turn, he collided with Srikanta’s TVS moped near Kalale village bridge resulting in Kiran suffering injuries. 

Though he was being shifted to a hospital, he breathed his last mid-way, according to the Police.

Nanjangud Traffic Police have registered a case.
