Road Safety Month: Traffic Police hold awareness rally

Mysuru: The officers and personnel of the Narasimharaja Traffic Police Station conducted a Trin Trin bicycle rally as part of Traffic Management and Road Safety Month, here on Thursday.

The rally was inaugurated by Traffic Warden Dr. Vijayendra at the Railway Station Circle at 9 am. It passed through Seshadri Iyer Road, Sayyaji Rao Road, Nelson Mandela Road, Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, Fountain Circle, Irwin Road and concluded at J.K. Grounds.

The Police carried placards with slogans asking people not to violate traffic rules.

The interceptor vehicle followed the rally with announcements regarding traffic management and road safety, creating awareness among   the public.

N.R. Traffic Inspector Jayakumar and staff participated in the rally, according to a press release from Police Commissioner’s Office.
