Rs. 22.70 lakh-worth gold, cash stolen from house

Mysuru: A woman, accusing a few persons known to her of stealing gold jewellery and cash worth Rs. 22.70 lakh from her house has lodged a complaint at Kuvempunagar Police Station.

The woman, who has lodged a complaint, is Sunitha, a resident of Ramakrishnanagar E&F Block.

In her complaint, Sunitha has stated that on July 30, she, along with her husband Ganesh and children, had gone out during which Ramya, Ramu, Manjula, Mahadevaswamy and others conspired and stole over 300 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 2 lakh, all worth Rs. 22.70 lakh, from the house.

She said that she lodged a complaint at Kuvempunagar Police Station on Sept. 29 after discussing with her husband.
