Rtn. H.R. Keshav elected as District Governor of RI District 3181

Mysore/Mysuru: Rtn. H.R. Keshav of Rotary Club of Mysore Brindavan has been elected as District Governor of Rotary International (RI) District 3181 for the year 2023-24.  He will take charge on July 1, 2023.

As a Rotarian since 2002-03, he has served the Club as its Treasurer, Secretary, President and Chairman of Rotary Mysore Brindavan School. He has coordinated ‘Lab-on-Wheels’ along with Mysuru Zilla Panchayat and CSR partner for Rs. 70 lakh worth ‘Laboratory-on-Wheels’ during the Covid pandemic.

He conceptualised and implemented Rotary – Public TV ‘Jnanadeevige’ Project of RI District 3181 so far for Government Schools Pan Karnataka; Implemented “Project Sahakaritha” between Rotary – Cognizant for  distribution of 1,200 computers to Government First Grade Colleges. He was also District Chairman for ‘Nammahalli’ village adoption and District Literacy Chairman (DLCC), 2020-21.

A Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering, an industrialist and entrepreneur, Rtn. Keshav is associated with Hebbal Industries Manufacturers Association,  is a Member of Mysore Chamber of Commerce of Industry, Member of FKCCI,  Member of Mysore ACT (Alert Citizen Team).

 An avid trekker, he has done many Himalayan treks including ‘Biking in Ladakh’. 

Son of late H.K. Ramakrishnaiya and late Leela, he was born in Mysuru on March 19, 1969.  A resident of Vijayanagar Railway Layout in city, he is married to Ann. K.S. Saraswathi (Software Engineer, L&T Infotech) and the couple is blessed with a son,  Sanath Keshav, who is pursuing his Ph.D in Stuttgart, Germany.
