Sir,
I would like to share my experience with RTO Mysore West. I am a senior citizen, and I submitted my application along with all the necessary documents for the renewal of my Driving Licence (DL) online on Jan. 4, 2025, well in advance of the expiry date (Jan. 23, 2025). The necessary fee was also paid on Jan. 7, 2025.
After the successful submission of the application, I got a message that I need not visit the RTO Office, and the DL will be delivered to my address.
I got an SMS and also a message on the portal parivahan.gov.in that the DL has been printed and dispatched by Speed Post on Apr. 25, 2025 (Tracking No. TA466750796IN).
Also, I have received an SMS that I can download my Virtual DL on DigiLocker. However, even today, I have not received my DL, and the Speed Post tracking says they don’t have any details about the Tracking ID sent by the portal.
When I tried to download the Virtual DL, the portal says no details are available.
I have even checked at the local Post Office personally, and they said the tracking ID does not belong to the Post Office.
I have sent an email, a registered letter to the RTO Mysore and tweeted to RTO Karnataka, but even till today, I have not received any response.
I hope RTO Mysore West will look into this matter and dispatch my DL at the earliest.
