May 5, 2021

Mysuru: Mysuru District Safai Karmachari Monitoring Committee member C.R. Rachaiah has urged the authorities to immediately  provide safety kits to all Safai Karmacharis working in Gram Panchayats.

In a press release, Rachaiah said that Safai Karmacharis play a crucial role in containing the spread of the virus, which is causing a massive havoc across the country in the second wave of attack. In this backdrop, the district authorities should take immediate steps for distributing safety kits and equipment to all Safai Karmacharis serving in 266 GPs of the district. He also urged for distribution of PPE kits to all staff who are engaged in sanitization of buildings where COVID patients are sheltered.
