Mysuru: The protests, demonstrations and rallies being held since Aug.3 seeking a Cabinet berth for senior Congress MLA Tanveer Sait, continued today as well with hundreds of supporters taking out a mega bike rally in the city this morning.
The bike rally was organised under the joint aegis of Lorry Drivers Association, Goods Tempo Drivers Association, Railway Goods Terminal Loaders and Unloaders Association and Warehouse & Godown Workers Association.

The rally, which commenced from Jodi Tenginamara Road in Bannimantap, passed through Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Circle (Highway Circle), Nelson Mandela Road, FTS Circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway and Mahadevapura Main Road, before culminating at Sait’s residence in Udayagiri, where they met the MLA expressing support to him. Several cars, autos and goods vehicles too were part of the rally.
The rallyists held placards demanding a Ministerial berth for Sait. Leader Abdul Khader Shahid, Railway Goods Terminal Loaders Association President Javed, Godown Labourers Association President Ateeq, Lorry Drivers Association President Abdul Wahid, leaders Sohail, Yusuf Khan, Murugesh, L. Shankar, Rachappa, Asif and others took part.
