Sale of house: Prospective buyer accuses owner of cheating

Mysuru: A house owner, cheating a buyer after taking advance amount, has been reported in city.

While house owner has been identified as Hanumantha of K.M. Halli, the buyer who was cheated has been identified as Akbar Pasha.

It is alleged that Hanumantha and Veena, had pledged the house papers in Indian Overseas Bank and had taken a loan which they had not revealed to Akbar Pasha, but they had got a Sale Deed done at the Sub-Registrar’s office and had taken Rs. 4.5 lakh as advance amount from Akbar.

Akbar, who later came to know that there was a loan on the house and the owners had not told him about it before, lodged a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station.

Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
