July 6, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: City’s Samvahana Trust, which is into literary, cultural and intellectual programmes for over a decade, will be conducting an interaction on the topic ‘Badalaaguttiruva Sahityada Vidyamaanagalu’ (The changing face of Literature) as part of the series titled ‘Vidyamana,’ at 11 am on July 30. Noted writer Prof. Purushotham Bilimale will deliver a lecture and hold interaction.

Samvahana Trust, which was established in 2009, has been serving the society through various literary programmes, during which several senior writers have been honoured. The Trust has been conducting a unique contest — ‘Pustaka Odi Bahumaana Gelli’ (read books and win a prize) — in order to attract students towards reading.

The Trust has also brought many writers and poets to light through its ‘Mathana Mantapa’ lecture series.
