Sandalwood actor-director Tapori Satya dies at 45

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor-director Tapori Satya (45), who had acted in over 30 films, passed away following kidney failure at a private hospital.

The actor’s health condition worsened on Monday night as he became unresponsive to the treatment and breathed his last at the hospital.

He leaves behind a wife, mother and three daughters.

The mortal remains will be kept at his residence at Banashankari in South Bengaluru for public viewing and the last rites are expected to take  place today.

Tapori Satya was seen as an antagonist in the movie ‘Nanda Love Nanditha’ which marked the debut of Yogi as a lead actor. He was seen in the supporting role in most of his films. He had also directed a movie called ‘Mela’ and was preparing to direct another movie for which he had begun the process of auditions.
