Sangeeta Nrithya Araadhana in memory of K. Vanajakshamma

Mysuru, Dec. 9 (SSM)- Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrithika Trust, J.P. Nagar, in association with Kannada and Culture Department and Ganabharathi, has organised the 26th Sangeeta Nrithya Araadhana in memory of K. Vanajakshamma at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar in city on Dec. 10.

As part of this, Karnatak classical vocal music recital will be presented by Sarang Bhagavath (disciple of Vidwan Sampagodu Vignaraj) of Bengaluru at 6 pm. He will be accompanied by Vid. Tumakuru Yashaswi of Mysuru on violin and Vid. Prahalad Rao of Mysuru on mridanga.

At 7 pm: Noopurashri award will be presented to Dr. C. G. Prahalad Rao (General Medicine) of Mysuru. A. Harikrishna Rao, Retired Librarian of Sanskrit College, Udupi and Dr. Kripa Phadke, Director of Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre will be the chief guests. B.N. Srikrishna Rao, Secretary of Sri Jnanashakti Samskruthika Sabha, Mysuru will preside. Naatyaachaarya Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Managing Trustee and Latha Ramamurthy Rao, Trustee will be present on the occasion.

7.30 pm: Bharatanatyam recital by disciples of Vidu. Srividya Shashidar, Director, Sri Durga Dance Academy, Mysuru.

Noopurotsava

Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust has organised ‘Noopurotsava’ in memory of Natyacharya M. Vishnudas from Dec. 25 to 27 at Vasudevacharya Bhavana, JLB Road, Mysuru.

Dec. 25 at 6.15 pm: Bharatanatyam recital by Aishwarya Nityananda of Bengaluru; 7.15 pm: Dance-Drama by Vidu. Mitra Naveen and troupe.

Dec. 26 at 6.15 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vid. K.R. Vishwadeepa; 7.15 pm: Bharatanatyam by Rashmi Sonali of Mysuru.

Dec. 27 at 6.15 pm: Stage programme followed by dance feature ‘Vishnudas Bani’ by students of Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust.
