Mysore/Mysuru: Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust, Mysuru, has organised a special dance programme ‘Sangeetha Nritya Aradhana’ in memory of late K. Vanajakshamma at Veene Seshanna Bhavan on Adichunchanagiri Road here on Dec. 10 from 6 pm onwards.

Sugama Sangeetha programme will be held by Prof. S. Mallana and Sudeshna between 6 pm and 7 pm. They will be accompanied by M.R. Hanumantha Raju on tabla and A.S. Prasanna Kumar on keyboard.

The music programme will be followed by a stage programme at 7 pm where ‘Nooporashri’ Award will be presented to Bharathanjali Nritya Shala Director Dr. Sheela Sridhar. JSS College, Mysuru, retired Principal Prof. S. Mallana will preside. Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre Director Dr. Kripa Phadke will be present.

Later, a Bharatanatyam recital will be presented by Vid. K.R. Vishwadeep, son and disciple of  Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
