Santro Ravi’s anticipatory bail: Hearing deferred to Jan. 17

January 12, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: City’s Principal District and Sessions Court, which took up the hearing of the anticipatory bail application of K.S. Manjunath alias Santro Ravi today, has deferred the hearing to Jan. 17 as Ravi failed to turn up at the Court. Anticipating that Santro Ravi would turn up at the Court, additional Police force was deployed at the Court premises this morning.

Based on the complaint from the victim (wife) recently, Vijayanagar Police had registered a case of sexual assault against Santro Ravi. Following this, he had applied for anticipatory bail through a lawyer. As he did not turn up today, the Judge deferred the hearing.
