‘Sathgamaya-2020’ State-level multi-fest from Mar. 3

Mysore/Mysuru: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, is organising Sathgamaya- 2020, a State-level multi-fest on Mar.3 and 4 at its college premises in Bogadi II Stage. This is a novel idea introduced to incorporate fun filled learning. All the disciplines of the college such as Computer Science, Visual Communication, Management and Commerce, Sciences, Languages and Physical Education Departments will host various workshops, competitions and games that will enrich the student’s knowledge base and skills. 

Student participants can enjoy the feel of the fest with added bonus of carnival and cultural extravaganza including dance and Naik and the Jois Project music band.

Dr. M.R. Seetharam, President, SVYM Mysuru,  Mandya Ramesh, Founder, Natana School of Theatre Arts, Dr. Balakrishnan Shankar, Dean, Humanities and Social Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, will be present on the occasion. While competitions are open only for all first-grade college students of Karnataka, workshops are open for anybody interested in the field. 

Workshops ranging from Robotics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, UI/ UX to Pottery, Makeup and Nail Art is what sets this fest apart. 

Students can win attractive cash prizes in gaming and other competitions such as Hackathon, Roadeez, Web Development, Digital Treasure Hunt, Revengers (LAN gaming), Marvel Trivia Quiz, Best Entrepreneur, Business Quiz, Pinch of Punishment, Science Treasure Hunt, Science Model and Collage-making, 

Bollywood Quiz, TikTok, Photography, Theatre, Story-telling, Poetry, Literary Quiz, Bhagavad Gita Recitation, Solo Singing, Solo Instrumental and Cricket competitions. 

The Science Park which allows the visitors to experiment, explore and be amazed at, is all set to welcome them to the wondrous world of Science.
