SBM Colony Residents Association conducts sports activities

Mysuru: The Mysore Bank Colony Residents’ Welfare and Cultural Association conducted sports activities and fun games for its residents — men, women and children — at Mysore Bank Udyanavana in SBM Colony.

Corporator Champaka, who was the chief guest, flagged off running race for children.

Speaking on the occasion, she disclosed that the MCC is planning to construct an auditorium inside the park and arrange for volleyball, basketball courts as a measure to encourage the youngsters for sports activities.

More than 200 participants including boys, girls, women and men participated and prizes were won by many. Arunkumar Shettar, President of the Association, presided. Venkatakrishna Bhat, Vice-President, proposed a vote of thanks. Also present were K.V. Ramanath, Secretary, Shivakumaraswamy, Treasurer, Nagendra Prasad, K. Raghuram, Shankara Subramanyam, Vijayalakshmi, Rajasekhar and Raviprakash.
