Scooterist killed in self-accident

Mysore/Mysuru: A 75-year-old scooterist died of injuries after the two-wheeler he was riding, skidded and fell down near Gun House Circle in the city. Narasimhamurthy (75), residing near Shantala Theatre in Chamaraja Mohalla, is the deceased.

Narasimhamurthy, along with his wife Mangalagowri, was proceeding on a scooter to the city when the scooter reportedly skidded and fell down near Gun House Circle at about 1.45 pm yesterday. The seriously injured Narasimhamurthy was rushed to JSS Hospital, where he breathed his last in the early hours of this morning. His wife Mangalagowri, who was riding pillion, escaped with minor injuries, it is learnt.

K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
