Selected for National Award

Mysuru: The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) has selected Dr. B.S. Shivakumara, Chairman, ISTE Chapter, PES College of Engineering, Mandya, for “ISTE Stripes of Redeemer National Award for the Best ISTE Chapter Chairman for 2017.”

The Award will be presented to Dr. Shivakumara during ISTE National Annual Convention to be held from Jan.27 to 29 at Kottayam, Kerala. Totally, 1,214 ISTE Chapters are functioning in India.

Also the ISTE Chapter of the College has been selected for “ISTE Best Faculty Chapter of Karnataka section for the year 2017.” This award also will be presented at ISTE Convention  in Kerala. Totally, 118 ISTE Chapters are in Karnataka section.
