‘Selfishness has eaten into service sector too’: Pramod Madhwaraj

January 16, 2018

Nanjangud: “With people becoming more selfish, service mindedness is on the decline,” opined Minister for Sports and Youth Empowerment Pramod Madhwaraj.

He was speaking at the inaugural programme of Bhajana Mela, Desi Games, Drawing Contest and boating organised as part of the ongoing Jathra at Suttur.

Pramod Madhwaraj observed that a bad atmosphere had come in all sectors including the Apex Court now with four Judges openly coming out with allegations. He contended that any service would go corrupt and contaminated, the moment selfishness steps in. He commended Suttur Kshetra in continuing relentless service to society.

Minister for Sugar Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad inaugurated the programme. Sri Vidyananda Swamiji of Varkal Shivagiri Mutt, Kerala and Sri Mahanta Swamiji of Devanur Mutt, graced the occasion. Chamarajanagar ZP President Ramachandra, former MLA Mahima Patel and others were present.
