Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar from Karnataka, partnered with Parinitha Vattaparambil from Andhra Pradesh and bagged runner-up trophy in the Doubles Category of the AITA-OTA (All India Tennis Association-Odisha Tennis Association) National Series U-14 Tennis Tournament held at Kalinga Stadium Tennis Complex in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in November.

In the summit clash, they lost to Odisha duo, Aahan and Avipsha Dehury, 1-6, 1-6.

Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar is currently studying in the 6th standard at Excel Public School in Mysuru. She is the daughter of Dr. Malathi Priya, Conservator of Forests (CF), Mysuru Circle and Dr. P. Ramesh Kumar, CF and Director of Bandipur     Tiger Reserve.
