Shops, commercial outlets must register under Act-1961

Mysore/Mysuru: All shops and commercial establishments in the district have to compulsorily register under Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act-1961.

Apart from those who have registered, the owners and entrepreneurs of remaining shops and commercial establishments have to file application online on the website https://www.ekarmika.karnataka.gov.in/ekarmika/Static/Home.aspx by paying the prescribed fee. The failure to register will be legally dealt as per the rules.

For details, consult the respective Senior Labour Inspectors’ Offices — Circle Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4and Labour Inspectors Offices in Nanjangud, Hunsur, Periyapatna, K.R. Nagar, T. Narasipur and H.D. Kote, according to a press release.
