Siddharamaiah is ‘Percentage’ man, says, H.D. Kumaraswamy

March 5, 2018

Srirangapatna: Accusing Chief Minister Siddharamaiah of being a ‘percentage’ man,  State JD(S) President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy has rubbished the CM’s claims that he (CM) was a son of the soil.

Addressing a mammoth ‘Kumaraparva Rally’ at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple premises in the town on Saturday, Kumaraswamy alleged there was a loot of money in the mega solar plant at Pavagada in Tumakuru district, which the CM  has reportedly claimed it to be the eighth wonder of the world.

Continuing his tirade against the Siddharamaiah Government,  he said that the Government was spending huge sums of money on publicity with an eye on the polls.

Maintaining that he always took up the cause of farmers, the former CM lashed out at JD(S) baiters and said that the Congress Government should take credit for pushing the farming community to distress.

Hitting out at rebel party MLA Ramesh Babu Bandi Siddegowda who is planning to join the Congress, he assured the gathering that he will waive off all farmer loans within a day of coming to power.

Appealing the people to give a full majority to the JD(S), he said that he had many plans for the welfare of farmers and job creation.

Leader Ravindra Srikantaiah, who quit the Congress recently, formally joined the  JD(S) in the presence of H.D. Kumaraswamy.

The JD(S) has declared that Ravindra Srikantaiah is the Party candidate from Srirangapatna Constituency.

MP C.S. Puttaraju, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Marithibbegowda, MLA, G.T.  Devegowda, Madhu Bangarappa, D.C. Thammanna, MLC’s K.T. Srikantegowda,  Appaji Gowda and others were present.
