‘Siddu most corrupt CM in country’

BSY in city

Lashing out at Chief Minister Siddharamaiah for terming him as most corrupt and habitual liar, former Chief Minister and State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa sought to pay back the CM in his own coin, saying that Siddharamaiah was the most corrupt Chief Minister in the country.

Speaking to press persons just before taking part in the ‘Shivaganaradhane’ of RSS leader M.C.Jayadev, who passed away recently, near the late RSS leader’s residence on 9th cross, Ramanuja road here this morning, Yeddyurappa said that he would file a defamation suit against Siddharamaiah for making baseless charges against him.

Stating that the notings in Congress MLC K. Govindaraju’s diary has totally exposed Congress’ corruption, the State BJP Chief said that he would take the diary issue to its logical end.

Claiming that he was not the one to be scared by the CM’s move to rake up old cases against him (BSY), Yeddy demanded that BJP MLC Lehar Singh Diary and Congress MLC K. Govindaraju’s Diary cases be handed over to the CBI for investigation.

Asserting that the State Cabinet’s reported decision to keep off Govindaraju from administrative matters in itself was proof that Govindaraju’s diary expose had brought shivers to the Congress leaders, Yeddyurappa demanded  sacking of K.J. George and all other Cabinet Ministers who had received bribe in Bengaluru Steel Bridge contract. [The contract has been cancelled according to today’s reports]

When asked about the number of leaders from other parties willing to join BJP, Yeddyurappa said that all those who accept the party’s ideology are welcome.

The State BJP Chief said that he was confident that BJP’s vision of ‘Mission-150’ will be certainly realised in 2018 Assembly polls and added that senior JD(S) leader Parimala Nagappa would join the party at the convention to take place at MM Hills on Mar.16.

MP Pratap Simha, former Ministers S.A. Ramdas, C.H. Vijayashankar and M. Shivanna, Deputy Mayor Rathna Lakshman, City BJP President Dr.B.H. Manjunath, Sriram Sena Chief Pramod Muthalik, BJP leaders H.V. Rajeev, Jogi Manju and others were present.
