Six daily habits that will help you pass your SSC exam

The staff selection commission exam tests your skills and analytical ability, which are a key part to clear your exam. The SSC CGL and CHSL exam are one of the most attempted government exams, and there is a huge pile of students and aspirants who attempts the exam each year, yet only a few can crack it. The reason for failing can be due to depression, anxiety, or overconfidence. If you want to succeed and crack your SSC exam in your first attempt, here are six daily routine habits that will certainly help you to crack your SSC CGL and CHSL exam.

1. Improve your vocabulary

Daily, try to learn at least 20 words. These words should also be applied and remembered by you daily so for example if you have learned 20 words today and then 20 words tomorrow you should also revise the previous 20 words you learned earlier, so it doesn’t slip your mind.  It will only take ½ hour to 45 minutes to learn all the vocabulary on a daily basis, and it will help you in your general English section.

2. Learn Formulas

Learning the quantitative aptitude formulas is very important as the more you are familiar with the formulas, the more quickly you will be able to solve the questions. The formulas can be downloaded from the internet source and make a cheat sheet which contains all the relevant formulas. You should revise every formula on a daily basis, and within 40 days you will realize you are not taking more than 10 minutes to revise all formulas as it will be engraved in your mind.

3. Learn number sequence

In cracking the reasoning exam you must learn the number sequence, and the basics like A comes at 1st place, G comes at 7th place, and Z comes at 26th place, etc. so that whenever the questions come related to this, you will be quick,  to solve it saving your time for other questions. Similarly, in finding the odd one out completing the number sequence, you must be familiar with the basics like whole numbers, natural numbers, etc.

4. Practice Question papers

Maintaining the timeline is important, and adhering to the timeline can be a daunting task. You must keep track of the total time you take to solve any question as the time is very less. Practicing as many questions as possible will be the best approach to keep your time track. Try to practice at least 1 question paper in the set timeline to check if you are managing your time wisely or not. 

5. Take proper rest

You must take proper rest while you prepare as it will help to overcome your anxiety and depression and will also make your study and memory better. So you should sleep at least 8 hours daily.
