‘Social justice should be sought through right leaders’

November 11, 2018

Mysuru:  “The unorganised harassed working community should not be carried away by the crocodile tears shed by politicians with pretentious assurances,” asserted former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah.

He was speaking at the inaugural function of the District Kayaka Samajagala Okkuta at Town Hall premises here yesterday.

Siddharamaiah asked the members of the Okkuta to be very cautious in any approach to seek social justice. He pointed out that BJP leaders change their stand on the Backward and oppressed class depending on their whims and fancies.

He opined that harassment and oppression of any strata of society could be avoided only if there is a equal distribution of power which could evolve a true socio-economic freedom.

Inaugurating the programme, Chitradurga Brihan Mutt Seer Sri Shivamurthy Murugarajendra Swamiji regretted that many people value money and not work which has been driving the society into a deplorable situation.

Sri Urilinga Peddi Mutt Seer Sri Jnanaprakasha Swamiji graced the occasion. Littérateur Dr. Chandrashekar Kambara, Okkuta President K.C. Puttasiddha Shetty, General Secretary Borappa Shetty, Treasurer Lakshmikanth and others were present.
