South Graduates Constituency: Polling from 7 am to 5 pm on June 8

Mysuru: The election to the Legislative Council seat from South Teacher Constituency, covering the districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Hassan will take place from 7 am to 5 pm on June 8.

There are 18 polling centres in the district, with 10 in the city alone and the rest in all taluk headquarters of the district namely Periyapatna, Hunsur, K.R. Nagar, H.D. Kote, T. Narsipur, Nanjangud and Mysuru Taluk.

Polling centres in city:  Government PU College for Girls, Peoples Park, Nazarbad, Sri Kalaniketana School of Arts, Vijayanagar second stage, Lions West Seva Niketena School, Contour Road, Gokulam, Government Model Higher Primary School, Rajendranagar, St. Philomena’s Lower Primary School for Girls, B.N. Road, Vidyavardhaka High School, Seshadri Iyer Road, Geetha Shishu Shikana Sangha, Siddarathanagar, Government Model Higher Primary School, Krishnamurthypuram 6th cross, Kaginele Maha Samsthana, Kanaka Guru Peetha Educational Institutions, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar and St. Mary’s Higher Primary School on Ramanuja Road.

Teachers from Mysuru Taluk can cast their votes at Government Girls PU College, Peoples park, Nazarbad.

Teachers from MCC ward Nos. 25, 26, 27, 28 & 29 (MCC Zone 5) Vijayanagar First and Second Stage, Hebbal, Manchegowdanakoppal, Kumbarakoppal, Metagalli, Lokanayaknagar, Karakushalanagar, B.M. Shrinagar and Jayadevanagar, can exercise their franchise at Sri Kalaniketana School of Arts, Vijayanagar second stage.

Teachers from MCC Zone 4 limits, Ward Nos. 23, 30, 31, 32 and 33, Vijayashripura, Manasagangothri, Jayalakshmipuram, Vinayakanagar, V.V. Mohalla, Yadavagiri, CFTRI Quarters, Brindavan Extension, Gokulam, Majunathapura, Vontikoppal can cast their votes at Mysuru West Lions Seva Niketana School on Contour Road, Gokulam.

Teachers from MCC Zone 8 limits, MCC Ward Nos. 46, 47, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53 and 54 Rajendranagar, Kesare, O.D. Block, Subashnagar, N.R. Mohalla, Rajivnagar, Shanthinagar, Udayagiri, Ghousianagar, Naidunagar and Sathyanagar can exercise their franchise at Government Model Higher Primary School, MCC building, Rajendranagar.

Nagar, Vishweswaranagar, Ashokapuram, Nachanhallipalya, Krishnamurthypuram, Jayanagar, Srirampura, Vivekanandanagar and Aravindnagar can exercise their franchise at Government Model Higher Primary School located on 6th cross, Krishnamurthy  puram.

Teachers from MCC Zone 3, Ward Nos. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 24, Kuvempunagar, K.G. Koppal, Chamarajapuram, T.K. Layout, Janatanagar, Saraswathipuram, Kukkarahalli, Vagdevinagar, Gangotri Layout, Ramakrishnanagar, Dattagalli (Kanakadasanagar) and Sharadadevinagar, can cast their votes at Kanaka Guru Peetha Educational Institutions located on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar.
