South Zone Inter-University Women’s Kho-Kho: University of Mysore wins title

The women’s kho-kho team of University of Mysore which won the South Zone Inter-University Women’s Kho-Kho title at Mangaluru on Thursday, is seen with the trophy and the guests.

Mangaluru, Oct.20- The women’s kho-kho team of University of Mysore (UoM) retained the South Zone Inter-University Women’s Kho-Kho title by beating Mangalore University by 1 and 2 points in their final league match played on Thursday at Mangaluru.

In their earlier league matches, UoM beat University of Calicut by 1 point and seven minutes and in their second league match beat Kerala University by an innings and three points. In the quarter-finals, University of Mysore beat Madurai Kamaraj University 10-6 and an innings and qualified for the league stage.

With this splendid performance, University of Mysore qualified for the All India Inter-University Tournament.
