Special children have special talent: MyLAC Chairman

Mysuru: Observing that special children have a special talent and can match normal children in terms of talent and intelligence, MyLAC Chairman H.A. Venkatesh has said that it was important to tap their talent and bring them to mainstream society.

He was speaking at International Day of the Disabled and Louis Braille Birth Anniversary celebration organised at JSS Polytechnic for the Disabled in the city recently.

Noting that Educational Institutions were temples of learning, he lauded JSS Institutions for imparting quality education to children from all sections of the society without any discrimination.

Venkatesh also inaugurated a drinking water facility set up by MyLAC in the campus.

Disabled Persons Welfare Officer N. Geetha, MyLAC MD Dr. Chandrashekar Doddamani, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Joint Director (Technical) B.R. Umakanth, Polytechnic Principal Nanjundaswamy, staff and others were present.
