Senior Journalist Krishna Prasad (formerly of Outlook) will inaugurate a Training Camp for Journalism students at Cauvery auditorium in Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) premises tomorrow (Feb. 15) at 10 am.
The programme is organised under the aegis of Karnataka Media Academy.
Academy Chairman Siddaraju will preside. Academy Members Rudranna Harthikote, Muttu Naikar, T.S. Ranganna and B. Venkata Singh will be present.
Session-1: Ravindra Bhat Ainakai, Asst. Editor of Prajavani will talk on ‘Kannada Patrikegalalli Bhasheya Balake’ (Language usage in Kannada Newspapers); Session-2: Krishna, Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dayananda Sagar University, will speak on ‘Language usage in English Newspapers.’
Session-3: Nayeedulla Ataulla, Editor – Political Bureau, Times of India, will talk on ‘Opportunities and Challenges for Women in Journalism’; Session-4: Badruddin K. Mani, Chief – Political Bureau, Public TV, will speak on ‘Visual Media.’
