Sri Guru Raghavendraswamy’s 351st Aradhana Mahotsava from Aug. 12

Mysore/Mysuru: The Nanjangud Sri Raghavendraswamy Mutt on Narayana Shastri Road near Subbarayanakere in city is celebrating the 351st Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Guru Raghavendraswamy from Aug. 12 to 15  as follows:

Aug.12: Poorvaaradhane in the morning followed by Padapuja and Panchamruta for Utsavarayaru  at 7 am; Dasavani by Nayana Nagaraj at 6 pm;  Ashika and Hariharan will present Bharatanatyam at 8 pm.

Aug 13: Madhyaaradhane, Padapuja  and Panchamruta for Utsavarayaru at 7 am; Dasavani by Sridhanya Gururaj at 6 pm; by Deepika Pandurangi at 8 pm.

Aug.14: Uttaraadhane, Padapuja  and Panchamruta for Utsavarayaru at 7 am; At 6 pm, Sri Gururaghavendra Vaibhava Nrityaroopaka by Sri Durga Dance School and Sri Gowri Music School. At 8 pm, Dasavani by Anasuya Sudarshan.

Aug. 15: Aradhane of Sri Sugnanendra Theertha. Kumar Performing Arts Centre will present Bharatanatyam at 7 pm.

Upakarma

On Aug. 11, at 6 am, Yajurveda Nityanootana Upakarma  will be held followed by Mass Satyanarayana puja at 10 am; Pournime Prarthanotsava Gopuja, Dwajarohana, Dhaanyapuja, Mahamangalarati and Swastivahana from 6 pm.

Sri Guru Raghavendra Aradhana Samithi, Somanatha Nagar, Dattagalli 3rd Stage, will also be celebrating Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsav for the 41st year with discourses and music programmes from Aug. 12 to 14 at its premises:

Aug. 12: Sri Somanatheshwara Temple Vahanotsava at 8 am. Discourse by Sri Adya Govindacharya at 6 pm followed by Hindustani Classical music concert by Pt. Balachandra Nakoda from 6.30 pm. He will be accompanied by Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath on harmonium; Pt. Rajendra Nakoda on tabla.

Aug. 13: Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and Havana at 9 am. Hindustani classical concert and Dasavani by Dr. Muddu Mohan and troupe (6.30 pm to 9.30 pm).

Aug. 14: Shat Pranava Maha Mrutyunjaya Havana at 9 am. Pt. Kumar Maradura will present Hindustani Classical music between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm. He will be accompanied with Prabhu Rao on harmonium and Bheema Shankar Bidanur on tabla. Daily rituals include: Suprabhatha, Raghavendra Ashtakshara Japa, Homa, Abhisheka, Maha puja and Mahamangalarathi.

Sri Rama Dhama, Udayagiri, will celebrate Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamy from Aug. 12 to 14 at its premises in city.

Aug. 12: Bhajan by Sri Vishwesha Krishna Bhajana Mandali between 5.30 pm and 7 pm; Aug. 13: Devotional songs by Atri Koushik and troupe from 5.30 pm to 7 pm; Aug. 14: ‘Sri Raghavendra Vijaya’ discourse by Vid. Padmanabha Varakhedi between 5.30 pm and 7 pm.

Every day seva rituals include Annadana, Hoovina Alankara, Panchamrutha, Pada puja, Kanakabhisheka, Pallakki seva,  Rathotsava and Ranga puja.

Sri Raghavendra Seva Samithi, Jayalakshmipuram, will also be celebrating Sri Raghavendra Aradhana Mahotsava from Aug. 10 to Aug. 15 at its premises.

Aug. 10: Gopuja, Lakshmi puja and Dhaanya puja from 6 pm; Aug. 12: Classical Music concert by Vidu. Vrunda Acharya from 6.30 pm to 9 pm; Aug. 13: Flute recital (classical) by Vid. Mysuru A. Chandan Kumar from 6.30 pm to 9 pm; Aug. 14: Sri Guru Rayara Maharathothsava on main streets of Jayalakshmipuram at 10 am; Classical music concert by Vidu. N. Medha Bhat (6.30 pm – 9 pm).

Aug. 15: Dasavani by Vidu. Rakshana Ravi and Vidu. Rakshitha Ravi (6.30 pm – 9 pm).

Daily rituals are: Suprabhatha, Mahapanchamrutha abhisheka,  Kanakabhisheka, Sarvaseve and Mahamangalarathi.

Sri Raghavendra Swamigala Brundhavana Trust, Abhinava Mantralaya, Krishnamurthypuram, too will hold special rituals to mark Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsava from Aug. 12 to 14 at its premises:

Dhwaja Karya, rathotsava, sankeerthane, abhisheka, pravachana, archane and other special rituals will be held during the three-day Mahotsava.

Yajur Upakarama will be held on Aug. 11 at 6.30 am.
