Social problems can be solved through Bhagawan Mahaveer’s messages: MLA

Mysuru -“Bhagawan Mahaveer fought against caste discrimination. If his messages are incorporated now, the present social problems could be solved,” opined MLA M.K. Somashekar. He was speaking at ‘Sri Mahaveer Ahimsa Award’ Presentation Ceremony organised by Sri Mahaveer Seva Sansthan, Mysuru, as part of Mahaveer Jayanti celebrations at Sri M.L. Vardhamanaiah Memorial Hall on Chandragupta Road here last evening. He said that he would help in getting Rs. 20 lakh from the CM’s Fund for Jain community and also a CA site if an application in this regard was given.

On the occasion, Dr. Sridhar Kumar of Kanakagiri was presented with ‘Sri Mahaveer Ahimsa Award’ and was felicitated along with his wife Manjula Kumari.
