Mysuru: Sanjay, District President of Sri Rama Sene, sustained injuries to his eye while bursting crackers during the mass immersion procession of Ganesha idols while it was passing on D. Devaraj Urs Road in city yesterday.

Police personnel, who were on security duty, summoned an autorickshaw immediately and shifted Sanjay to a private hospital in city where the 52-year-old was given first-aid and was later shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment, it is learnt.
