Mysore/Mysuru: Students of St. Lawrence International School, Mysuru, created a remarkable impression at the Staark Robotics Competition held in Chennai by winning awards across all categories at the South India-level, competing against 17 top schools.
Aadhya, Vinish, Lavin and Tooba secured first place in the Robotics Challenge for their obstacle-avoidance robot “Path Pilot,” designed to assist visually impaired individuals.
Kiranya Reddy and Prishitha bagged the second place in the AI and Quantum PPT Presentation category.
Bhuvan Raj secured second place in the AI Application category for developing “SahAI,” an AI-based chat system that detects mental distress.
Viraaj and Manvith won the second place in Storytelling and first place in Drawing contest.
In addition, Dhanvin, Ved Avyan, Nathan, Ujjwal, Shriyan and Dewaansh participated in the Robotics Challenge and were recognised as the best performers at the school-level, securing school-wise prizes for their innovative efforts.
