State Junior Athletic Championship: Day-2: Mysureans achieve two New Meet Records

The second day of the ongoing 36th State Junior Athletic Championship at Swarajya Maidan in Moodbidri of Dakshina Kannada district yesterday saw Mysuru athletes achieve two New Meet Records (NMR) apart from adding five gold, one silver and two bronze medals to the district’s medal tally.

While Mysuru’s Mohith Mohan created NMR in Discus Throw (U-20 Boys) with a throw of 48.06 mts, Maurya Ganapathy achieved the feat in Shot-Put (U-18 Boys) with a throw of 17.81mts.
