SBRR Mahajana PU College entered semi-final in the ongoing 48th State-level Inter Pre-University College T20 Tournament organised by Vijaya PU College at VET Polytechnic Grounds, defeating Surana PU College, here yesterday.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, SBRR Mahajana PU College scored 140 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Hunain Khan topscored with 53 runs (five 5s and a six). Rahul and Dhanraj picked up two wickets each.

In reply, Surana College were bowled out for 117 runs with Manvanth picking up two wickets. SBRR Mahajana PU College will face Mahaveer Jain College on Nov. 21.

In the pre-quarterfinals, SBRR Mahajana PU College won by two runs. Chasing a target of 152 runs, St. Francis PU College was bowled out for 150 runs. Ram picked up 4 wickets giving away 22 runs.
