‘Step up Mysuru’ run for fitness

Mysuru: Marking Republic Day, Team Sanskriti had organised ‘Step up Mysuru’ run in city this morning to promote fitness awareness among the youth of Mysuru.

The 6-kilometre run commenced in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at around 6 am and passed through K.R. Circle, D. Devaraja Urs Road, JLB Road, Ramaswamy Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Gun House Circle, Hardinge Circle and back to the starting point.

Over 180 people participated in the event. The winners were presented medals and certificates.

Winners

Above 16: G.J. Chetan, S.N. Sridhar and H.D. Lakshmana.

Under 16: K.P. Nishanth of Royal Public School.

Above 40: S.M. Cheluvegowda.

Girls Section: G. Disha from Royal Public School.
