Sthree Shakti members create awareness on voting

Chamarajanagar: Hundreds of members of Sthree Shakti and other women organisations formed a huge human chain holding balloons at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stadium here yesterday to crate awareness among the people on necessity and importance of voting.

SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Practice) Committee Chairman and ZP CEO Dr. Harish Kumar administered the oath of voting.

The women participants later took out a rally through main thorough fares of the town which culminated at J.H. Patel auditorium in the District Offices premises. A demo was given on EVMs and VVPAT.
