Stop free milk distribution, fix a nominal rate

April 23, 2020

Sir,

The Government is distributing free half litre milk everyday for the poor. Taking advantage, even people who can afford may also avail this opportunity.

With no revenue for the Government due to lockdown, it cannot afford to give free milk on a daily basis. Instead charge a nominal rate of Rs. 10 for half litre packet. This will bring in revenue to the Government and also avoid more people from grabbing this opportunity.

Hope this free distribution of milk will be stopped immediately and instead charge Rs. 10 as I mentioned above.
