Stray dogs menace ‘again’ in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage

June 9, 2019

Sir,

Stray dogs have increased in huge numbers in and around Vijayanagar 2nd Stage and surely in other parts of the city. It is for several years, a repeating ‘menace’ that the citizens have been facing.

There were many plans of controlling stray dogs in the city but time and again, the problem resurfaces troubling residents and motorists. Recall voices of controlling stray dog population by operating them instead of mass killing, plans that never took off.

Probably the leaders/ decision-makers do not want a permanent solution that would affect their prospects of making a quick buck!
