A lurking health issue

June 9, 2019

Sir,

An overflowing drainage is soaking the bricks (see picture) that labourers each morning, with unprotected hands, lift and use for constructing a building. They are unaware of the lurking health issues, hand bruises that can result in serious diseases like tetanus, gas gangrene and several other illnesses. Complaints to the City Corporation has not set right this issue. Will the authorities concerned do the needful at the earliest?
