December 23, 2018

Mysuru:  Following a memorandum submitted by the Federation of Mysore Petroleum Traders to the City Police Commissioner seeking security to the staff of fuel stations, the Police Commissioner has issued a warning to the miscreants.

This warning comes after some miscreants allegedly assaulted the staff of a fuel station on Dec. 15 night.

City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeswara Rao said that the Police Department has taken precautionary measures by deploying personnel on beat duty in vehicles 24 hours a day to prevent such incidents.

He further stated that if anyone is found indulging in such incidents, legal action would be taken against such individuals and a Rowdy Sheet would be opened against the accused, according to a press release from the Public Relations Officer (PRO), City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
