Student killed as canter runs over

Mysuru: An 18-year-old girl student was killed on the spot when a Canter goods vehicle ran over her near Tipu Circle here on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Tanushree, a student of JSS College of Pharmacy in city.

Tanushree was proceeding towards Tipu Circle from LIC Circle on her scooter, when a speeding Canter rammed into the scooter from behind and ran over her killing Tanushree.

N.R. Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, have arrested the Canter driver.
