Students enhance public speaking skills

Mysuru: The Under Graduate students of MICA – Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts, underwent a training programme organised by Centre for Proficiency Development and Placement Services (CPDPS), University of Mysore, recently.

The programme focused on inculcating and enhancing anchoring skills, public speaking skills, personality development and interpersonal skills.

Jayaprakash Nagathihalli, a well-known anchor from Doordarshan, was the trainer.

The activities included mass karaoke to boost vocal confidence, dancing in groups to shed stage fear, questionnaire rounds, role plays, stage shows, micro presentations, delivery of speeches to name a few.

Nagathihalli presented his CDs on personality development as prizes to best performers — Sareen Khan,  Aanchal V. Jain,  R. Dhanush, Dheeraj Kumar, Syeda Hadiya, U. Aparna and Muskan Jain of MICA.
